Crafted from moso bamboo that has been caramelized for rich color, the cutting board is harder than maple and lovely to look at. Its sources are all natural, antimicrobial, and renewably grown, and it is held together with food-grade bonding glue. Proportions are comfortable, and a trim juice well contains drips so the side of the board with the bowls stays dry. Made without lead, the ceramic bowls keep sauces, herbs, or basting oils in easy reach and clean up in the dishwasher. Island Bamboo also includes two basting brushes with bamboo handles and natural fiber bristles. Measuring 15-3/4 by 12 inches, the cutting board cleans up by hand with soap and water.
